Tex Plastics People Power
24 January 2022
Craig Tunnicliffe has been promoted from Production Manager to Commercial Manager of Tex Plastics.
Started in the Customers Services team
Back in 2000, the first year in the new millennium, Craig started his career with Tex Plastics. His role involved order processing, delivery management and general customer liaison. Over the years Craig rose through the ranks progressing initially to Customer Services Manager, then Production Planning before becoming Production Manager. His role involved day-to-day planning production to ensure customer’s expectations are met. During this time Craig streamlined the processes to ensure the visibility within TEX was clear and could be easily communicated to customers.
New Commercial Manager for the Plastics Division
"My career at Tex Plastics has been one of continual development, which has been rewarded with recognition and promotions. I think that's why I've stayed with Tex Plastics, because I feel I can make a difference and I'm actively encouraged to take on new challenges. There's an obvious benefit to the business in this approach too. As they retain business intelligence and the customers have the continuity of personnel. It means I've already worked with many of the customers and I understand the issues they face which are unique to them, their product or sector. I'm really excited by this new challenge and look forward to making a difference in this new role.”
