Remapping of the factory unit floor plan to optimise space

The investment of 12 machines has enabled a significant redesign of the factory floor plan in this production unit. The mix of machines provides the optimal blend of capabilities, energy efficiency and floor space usage. The choice of manufacturers was based upon their energy efficiency and production outputs. Sarac has a reputation of being one of the world's leading suppliers of energy saving hydraulic injection moulding machines, whereas ARBURG is a tried and trusted manufacturer well known to Tex Plastics. Replacing our older plant, these new machines provide improved efficiency and will save 30% - 50% energy compared to the same capability machines being replaced.

The whole facility has been impacted by the investment programme, new equipment, new technology, new infrastructure and additional internal expertise. It feels like the planning we've been working on for years is all suddenly coming together.
