Justin Davis, Managing Director of TEX Plastics since January 2015 has stepped down to focus on his health and family.
Farewell & Good Luck Justin, you will be missed
Justin joined TEX Plastics Products Ltd as a technical sales manager back in 1998, and his career progressed working alongside the then managing director Chris Varley. Achieving the position of Director and General Manager of the Barnstaple facility in August 2009. Justin was promoted once again as the two facilities within TEX Plastics were consolidated under a single limited company - TEX Plastics Division - in 2012. Finally, Justin became Managing Director in 2015 and has held that position until May 14th this year.
"Some of you are aware I unfortunately and very unexpectedly was told I had that “C” word earlier this year. I was very swiftly operated on and told the cancer was removed but as a precaution I am undertaking Radiotherapy. In my case such a swerve ball has given me time and what appears the opportunity to re-evaluate. After 27 years my last day at TEX was Wednesday 14th May. I assure you it is with a heavy heart I leave but on balance I and my family believe it is the right decision."
"I have been very lucky to be given opportunity to progress through the ranks from my initial role as Technical Sales Manager of the Barnstaple operation through to the last 8 years as Managing Director of the Plastics Division encompassing the Barnstaple and Derby sites. Thank you for your valued business and time. I am privileged to have had a great team around me, not only supporting me in work but also on a personal level. Whatever I may have achieved in my TEX career it is the people, be it employee, customers and suppliers that has given me the greatest enjoyment."
