Our quality systems ensure that our customer’s plastic components are made from the best materials and to the closest tolerances. To guarantee the highest levels of quality, consistently, Tex Plastics have to control a range of parameters within the process, such as temperature, mould design and machine efficiency.

Tex Plastics control every aspect of the process from design for manufacture, through to manufacture and post moulding operations, through to supply feed to the customer. Maintaining consistently superior quality manufacturing is essential to our customers, and we’re committed to ensuring we deliver it!

Pre-production Approval Process

Pre-production Approval Process

All the steps involved to create the finished part are robustly tested from mould design and machine efficiency, to material choice and tooling design. This is to ensure the processes outlined in the DFM plan can produce the products during an actual production run at the quoted production rate.

5S Implementation in the Production Environment

5S Implementation in the Production Environment

The 5S System reduces waste and optimises productivity through maintaining an orderly workplace and using visual cues to achieve more consistent operational results. A key focus is the 5 pillars of a visual workplace. It’s based upon the principle ‘Master your work environment and productivity will increase.’ Applying 5S has enabled faster set up times, reduced operating costs, a visually attractive workspace and higher employee morale. This makes us more competitive and enables us to provide customers with a better service from design for manufacture to finishing and assembly.
